Hustle Men duo return to action for 2023

Hal Dwobeng and Daniel Flisk have been announced as the first Men’s protected players as Hustle Head Coach Sam Patterson builds his squad towards 2023.

Head Coach Alex Carnegie-Brown has locked in her three protected players, with the Head Coach of each Women’s side allowed to retain three players from the 2021 or 2022 squads to spearhead their 2023 teams.

Hal Dwobeng - Hal returns to The Fly for 2023 after a stellar performance in the competition’s inaugural year in which he was named in the All-Star team, and has been making waves in the Sixes game ever since.

An ever-reliant between the pipes, Dwobeng is an England international, taking to the field at the 2018 World Championship and finishing with a 47% save rate against the world’s best players.

Dwobeng has also easily adapted his game straight into the Sixes format, representing Great Britain at last summer’s World Games and will be a huge presence for Hustle at The Fly 2023.

Daniel Flisk - A long-pole defender by trade, Flisk has transitioned to Sixes and the short-stick with ease, proving to be one of the breakthrough players in 2021.

Flisk’s focus in 2022 was with his selection to play for England at the 2022 Men’s Under 21 World Championship, and following his appearance at the tournament, is now back involved for The Fly and his athleticism at both ends of the pitch should prove valuable for Hustle.
